BDE. Leading Archaeologist, and a giant in the field of Archaeology, passed away today. The world of archaeology suffered a great loss. Third generation archaeologist, Eilat Mazar was known for her discovery of the location of the Palace of the Davidic Dynasty. She also did major excavations in the Ophel area bordering Temple Mount. Other findings include the seal of King Hezekiah and that of the prophet Isaiah.
